My story

Hi, I’m Donna, an ADHD Coach accredited by ADHD Works. I live in Brighton with my dog, Mango, a very lively dachshund. I also have ADHD.

Although I was always aware I was different, after a lifetime of things not making sense, I was finally diagnosed with ADHD in 2023, at age 41. I believe my story will resonate with many other late-diagnosed people with ADHD.

My career background is in corporate L&D and Marketing. I had the privilege to work for some amazing organisations like TfL, British Airways, and the Jane Goodall Institute. I managed some big projects, but corporate life felt challenging for me. I burnt out, big time.  

Since my ADHD diagnosis, I’ve been on a self described ‘extreme healing journey’ to overcome my anxiety – symptomatic of untreated ADHD. Through this inner work, I’ve healed my negative inner voice, received the support I need, and now live a live that feels authentic to me. I believe this is possible for all.

Following my passion to help other ADHDers not suffer needlessly, I have since trained @adhdworks as a specialised coach. I trained with ADHD Works as I believe founder, Leanne Maskell, is an industry leader in specialised coaching for unconventional minds using an ethical CPD accredited framework.

Through coaching, I aim to help encourage better relationships and understanding with our ‘normal’ loved ones, colleagues and friends. I do this through 1:1 coaching and running workshops, including a ‘Vision Bored’ coaching workshop designed for ADHDers.

I also want to encourage businesses to understand how they can make small adjustments to their workplace which will be beneficial to all.

Ultimately, I believe what ADHD minds can achieve is limitless if we can embrace and hone our strengths to live our authentic, unmasked selves!
